Cocotá are Fama M’Boup and Christian Stoltz who both share a excentric love for Senegalese Synth Pop from the 80s. Since this is a very narrow field, they carefully extended their repertoire to original songs and arrangement of pop songs, again from around the 80s, while being playful with their music. Answering the phrase, the other one started, improvising on the groove that one provides, they develop their own sound universe on stage that sounds like traditional west African echoes and a jazzy turn on Sade.  

"Down Down Down" is one of their originals, sharing the story of grief and memories.
